Cake Bake & Sweets Show to makes a sugary return

Following a year’s absence, the Cake Bake & Sweets Show is making its return under a new management.

The show will kick off in Sydney in November, hosting a myriad of workshops, live demonstrations and specialty classes. Global Links Exhibitions & Conferences Organizers are set to produce the event, marking their entrance into the Australian market. “We’re looking forward to re-launching this property and growing what is already a well-established brand and an incredible event,” said James Laing, portfolio exhibition director. Laing, whose portfolio includes launching the Good Food & Wine Show, notes that the success of the event depends on balancing the need to deliver ROI for exhibitors and sponsors and creating memorable experiences for visitors. “The show continues to see highly engaged audiences across its social media platforms and gives us the opportunity to extend the lifestyle of the event across 365 days of the year.” Already confirmed for the show are Kirsten Tibballs (Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School), Katherine Sabbath (author and Instagram celebrity baker), Candice Brown (winner of The Great British Bake Off, season seven) and Anna Polyviou (pastry chef, Shangri-La Hotel). The full line-up will be announced in the coming months.

The Cake Bake & Sweets Show takes place in Sydney from November 23-25 and Melbourne from November 30 – December 2.
